Maria Antonietta Sbordone

Architect, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Master, designer, assistant professor in Industrial And Fashion Design at the Second University of the Studies of Naples (SUN) – Department of Civil Engineering, Design, Building and Environment (DICDEA). The environmental sustainability to the development, in the productive and design processes, is one of the search topics; in relation to the design dynamics focused on agriculture and peri-urban environment she elaborated a publication, “Designscape” (2007), and an international conference “Sensiblescape. The design performativity at the urban and territorial scale” (2010). The participation to the international conferences is oriented to another important search topic, the “User-Inspired Design”; based on a critical analysis to the mass product society, focused on the deepening Co-creation processes, oriented to new design solutions required by the Climate Change challenges. Since 2008 she coordinates (with Rosanna Veneziano) the Design for Peace Lab activities and since 2013 FA.RE. (Fashion research Lab). She teaches Industrial Design in the Master Degree Course, Design for Innovation at the SUN, she has courses to the Nanijing University of Science and Technology (CHINA).
