Patrizia Ranzo

Architect and designer, is a Full Professor of industrial design at the Università della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” Department of Architecture and Industrial Design (DADI). She is Director of Courses of Studies in Design and Communication, Design for Fashion and Innovation. She was coordinator of the PhD in Industrial, Environmental and Urban Design from 2000 to 2008. She is the curator of the "Culture of Design" series for Franco Angeli and the "Indesign" series for Alinea. Coordinates the "Ideas for Peace Lab" (with M.A. Sbordone, R. Veneziano) research laboratory for international cooperation and "FA.RE. Fashion Research Lab "for innovation in the field of fashion (with M.A. Sbordone, R. Liberti).

She has promoted several research projects in the field of fashion and design from the point of view of creative factories, interacting with companies, institutions and international research centers. “Fabbrica bianca” is the most recent project, in collaboration with “Città della Scienza” and the “Idis Foundation”, Naples. She is the author of several invention and utility patents in the field of design.
