Manuela Lorenzon Gastal

Nasceu em Pelotas, Brazil (1988) and is a service designed based in São Paulo (Brazil), and also Ph.D candidate in IADE Universidade Europeia, Libson. Since 2018, I work as a Service Designer and Project Leader at Livework São Paulo where I'm responsible for the management and execution of several projects from in company trainings about service design, design thinking, as well as design research projects, design sprints, development of service design strategies using design approaches, ux tools, ethnographic methodologies,  adapted to the project needs. Companies that I worked with: Roche (Pharmaceutical); Elo (Technology); Bradesco (Bank); L'oreal (Cosmetics), B3 (Stock Market), Plan International (NGO) and Desis Network Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability (Non Profit and Cultural Association).
In the academic field, I have already acted as a guest teacher in the discipline of scene techniques in the degree course in dance at the University of Lisbon (2016/12017).
During my Master in Evaluación y Gestión del Patrimonio Cultural by the Universidad de Salamanca I was able to do an internship in the area of assembly and management of temporary exhibitions, activities in the museological and museographic scope, participation in the preventive conservation of the pieces in the collection, and maintenance of historical and didactic collections in National Costume Museum in Lisbon / Portugal. (April - June 2015).
As an international experience I can mention in addition to the Master in Design and Visual Culture that I did at IADE Lisbon and the Master in Evaluación y Gestión del Patrimonio Cultural at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain I took some courses like the Costume for Theater & Screen at Central Saint Martins in London (July 2016). In France, I took an extension course in Design and Fashion at the Lumiére University in Lyon (July 2011) in Italy, I received a scholarship in the Fashion and Footwear Design course at the Instituto Politécnico Calzatureiro in Venice (October 2008) and did a cultural exchange for the States United where I finished high school at McMinnville High School in McMinnville, Oregon (August 2004 to July 2005).
