Alberto Pinillos-Laffon

Alberto Pinillos Laffón (Madrid, 1956) has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, Faculty of Information Sciences (1983) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Alicante (2014). Specialized in the areas of creativity, strategy and advertising writing, he was a creative editor and associate creative director in multinational, national and local advertising agencies from 1983 to 1995. He was a corporate communication consultant from 1995 to 2009, combining his professional activities with teaching at the University of Alicante, where he worked as Associate Professor from the year 2000/2001 until 2009. He has developed his career in the above mentioned University of Alicante until the present day. From 2010 to 2014 he worked as Assistant Professor and later Assistant -Doctor until 2018, teaching the subjects of Advertising Language and Development of Advertising texts. From 2019 to the present he has worked as Contracted Professor-Doctor, teaching the subject of Advertising Language. Also, since 2015 he has been a professor of the official master's degree in Communication and Creative Industries of the University of Alicante, teaching in the field of verbal identity and tone of voice in the program of the course Strategic branding and intangibles in creative industries.
